Welcome To The Eventide Owners Association Website

The Eventide Owners Association (EOA) is the original and official organisation representing the Yachting Monthly sponsored boat designs and is affiliated to the RYA.

Founded in 1962 the EOA's first president was Maurice Griffiths, designer of the Eventide and at the time Editor of Yachting Monthly Magazine. Since then the organisation has grown to support several other boats designed by Maurice Griffiths and the other YM designers.

Dedicated to the preservation of these now 'Classic' designs, the EOA provides resources for DIY boat builders as well as a community for Owners and Enthusiasts to share information and experiences relating to these beautiful historic craft.

Twice yearly, in the Spring and Autumn, an Association "Bulletin" is produced for EOA members which is packed full with advice, stories and items of interest submitted by our committee and members. It also details the EOA's activities and forthcoming events, such as sailing meets and cruises in company to which new and potential members are always very welcome.

Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in sailing and especially those who have an interest in the YM sponsored designs, Maurice Griffiths and other designs of that era.
